Wesley U– Eagle Project
Practice Day – Saturday March 20th 9:00am – 2:00pm
Event Day - Saturday, April 17th 10:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Natoma Station Elementary School
500 Turnpike Drive
My Eagle Service Project is to organize, coordinate and lead the bike rodeo for Natoma Station Elementary School. This will be a fun event for students at the school. In addition to having fun, they will learn to ride safely and wear a helmet properly.
The event will have a number of stations. Setup will start at approximately 8:00am and the event will kick-off at 1:00pm. There are approximately 600+ students; 400 in grades K-3 and 264 in grades 4 – 6.
Practice Day – March 20th schedule
I am looking for volunteers for setup from 9:00 to noon. I also need volunteers from 1:00 to 2:00 to assist with each station. Training for each station will be done at the practice day session. It would be ideal if the same people work the stations on practice day and event day since you will be trained. Need scouts and/or siblings in grades 1 through 6 to bring their bike and helmet to run through the stations.
Event Day – April 17th schedule
I am looking for volunteers for setup from 10:00 to noon. I also need volunteers from 1:00 to 5:00 to assist with each station and cleanup. I will need at least 10 people in the morning to help setup. I will need a minimum of 20 adults and scouts to work the afternoon to make sure all the stations are fully staffed.
This will be a fun event. Are there any bicycle enthusiasts in the Troop? Your expertise would be greatly appreciated.
I am also looking for any easy-ups that could be borrowed for event day.
Contact Information is available under the "Troop Contact List" to the left side of the web page.
Thank you
